There are a few certainties in the life of a clinician: frustration with insurance, no shows, having to scramble to fit in a bathroom break, and treatment planning. We are excited to announce a new series that we are adding to the Psyched to Practice Podcast lineup. Living Psyched! In these episodes, Ray and Paul will step away from the focused conversations on clinical practice and have some broader talks on general mental health topics. Our goal is to share good, applicable information in our traditional conversational way. We want everyone to be Living Psyched! We start this series with a very important topic that is near and dear to both of us and everyone has had some experience on either side of: Parenting. We discuss the roles of a parent, the goals that we as parents should be striving for, and how do we know if we’re being effective.
